Not only was the Metroid Prime 4 announcement surprising, but so too was the confirmation that the game isn't being developed by Retro Studios . Retro worked on the original trilogy of Metroid Prime [https://Adventuretrailhub.com/ Adventure games patch notes], and many fans were expecting the studio to return for Metroid Prime 4 , only to learn that the game is being developed by a brand new team. But if Retro Studios isn't working on Metroid Prime 4 , what could it possibly be developing? Its last game, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze , launched three years ago, so the timing is right for Retro to showcase its next project, whether that's at next year's E3 or during a special Nintendo Dir

Just like the Trials series, half of the fun is in mastering the course, and a few unique objectives across the game's sixteen tracks and four mountains add to its replayability. Lonely Mountains: Downhill can still be quite difficult and somewhat irritating at points when you just can't get a part of the course down, but overall Lonely Mountains: Downhill is a soothing and relaxing game to play if you aren't doing anything else or want to do something more than just listen to John Mulaney, Ben Hanson, or Andrew Y

In this case, the line between the player's character (Wander) and his steed (Agro) is as blurred as possible, with the trusted horse relied upon to take down more than one of the titular colossi. Despite her name, Agro showed a calm loyalty that spoke volumes, and exhibited a sacrifice that is still etched in the memory of all who pla

Well, not exactly. For starters, none of the three things mentioned made it into the game. Yes, your character did grow up, but via a timeskip rather than over time. You could choose between good and evil, you could get married, you could make your character fat or thin, but it ultimately didn't mean anything. The ending was still the same and your choices really didn't change much of anything. All the choices seemed tacked on for gimmick's sake. Still, Fable has its fans who enjoy it for what it is but it didn't contain everything Molyneux said it would, and that's why it makes it onto the l

Game Rant has come together to list 5 games that are prime examples of that overhype. Games that, either through the companies promoting them or the fans wanting them, were hyped as the next big thing and in some way, didn't deliver or meet expectati

Please note: just because a game didn't deliver on everything it said it would doesn't mean it was bad . A number of these games were still good, or at least decent. They just didn't deliver of everything they were meant

The game begins by taking control of either the son or daughter of the hero from Fable 2 , the prince or princess of the fantasy kingdom of Albion. Choosing to be the prince means the character's father was the hero, while choosing the princess means it was the character's mother. The game takes place 50 years after the events of Fable 2. The industrial revolution has swept across the land, and things in Albion have changed drastically. The protagonist's brother is currently the king, but he's ruling more like a tyrant. From there, destiny requires leaving the safety of the castle (with a faithful dog of course), becoming a hero, garnering the support of the people, overthrowing the oppressive brother/king and becoming the ruler of Albion. How this is gone about is up to the player to dec

Project Ego sounded like nothing I had played before. Being able to pick and choose which quests to take wasn't exactly groundbreaking, but the idea of the game taking place across the character's lifetime was intriguing. There was talk about how the character would be designed and uniquely tailored to the player's gameplay and they would be able to have children that would have a significant impact in the world. The character would receive unique scars from battle, they could plant a sapling and watch it grow in a massive tree throughout the course of the game and the NPCs would have unique reactions to the player based on their deeds to create the sense of a living world the player was truly a part of.

In the days leading up to E3, the news broke that both Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Kingdom Hearts 3 were years away from launch . After learning this, many assumed this meant that neither game would show up at E3. However, Kingdom Hearts 3 actually did get a new trailer, whereas Final Fantasy 7 Remake wasn't even mentioned. There have been rumblings that Final Fantasy 7 Remake has undergone some serious development struggles behind the scenes, but hopefully those fears will be put to rest the next time we see the game in action, whenever that may

Setting aside the speed and leaping that Epona brought once unlocked, the relationship between Link and his trusty flaxen Belgian goes much deeper.
